Are you queer? Do you sew? Then we would love to feature you on the SewQueer blog!
We're looking for contributors to submit a personal essay, tutorial, or resource roundup to be featured on the SewQueer blog, with a particular focus on sewing related to queer and trans experiences. Contributors will be compensated $50 per post and invited to do an Instagram takeover on the date their post is published. Promotion on your own platforms is encouraged.

Use inclusive language around gender, sexuality, ability, race, age, and size
Follow best practices for accessibility, including image descriptions
Center fat activism in refraining from diet talk, fat negativity, or specific weight numbers
Recognize your own identity position and affirm the intersectional and diverse nature of the Sew Queer community
Brainstorm a topic for a personal essay, tutorial, or resource
Submit your idea in the form below
We'll review your submission & respond within 2 weeks
If selected, our team will work with you to edit your content for final posting; all posts should include at least 1-3 related visual elements
Your post goes live! You get paid $50 and takeover the SewQueer Instagram account (if desired)
